Santa Cruz Restaurant Week is here! We were interviewed by the Good Times Weekly and here’s what Assembly co-founder Zach Davis and Executive Chef Jessica Yarr had to say:
Why should guests choose your restaurant to visit during Restaurant Week?

Zach: “This is Chef Jessica’s first restaurant week with Assembly so if people haven’t tried her menu this is a great opportunity to taste her culinary style in a super approachable format. Both in the restaurant and at farm dinners all summer Chef has been putting delicious food on the table.”
What is your approach to your Restaurant Week menu?

Chef Jessica Yarr “Right now we’re going through a fascinating seasonal transition. Our Restaurant Week menu is a celebration of the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Cherry tomatoes and cannellini beans collide with delicata squash, cider reductions and bourbon pecan jam. It’s a great time to be in the kitchen and to be dining!”

Why is Santa Cruz Restaurant Week an important event for the community?

Zach: “Restaurant week really marks the end of the summer season and the chance for the Santa Cruz community to get out and visit their favorite local spots. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with the food and farms that make our region great!”
